Hangin’ with my Heifer shirt

Like I was bouncing back and he was so proud. I was actually drafting a Hangin’ with my Heifer shirt but kept deleting words and sentences and putting it off because I couldn’t quite tell him just how much his class meant to me and how I was inspired to pick up one of his brothers books to read, mostly with him in mind. He sent this photo to our class via email once and it’s really wholesome and sweet.

We hope that by sharing some facts this will ease the minds of many. The father’s actions that night were nothing short of heroic. The father did pull the mom and 2 children from the fire. He did this with significant blood loss due to diving out a window on one end of the home to escape the fire, to then run to the other end of the home, force open the back door, and re-enter the home. My related story that happened today because of reading this article a while back. My five year old asked me to get a toy I had recently taken out of the independent play area I still have to manage to mess or we’d be buried in toys lol. I go to the place I know I put it and she tells me it is not there. I’m like I know it is here and she starts to get frustrated. In her mind, she thought she knew where it was.
