My neighbor’s speakers blaring out Deadpool and Jack Skellington Adidas shirt, that song never gets old. I turn off the TV ordering my brothers to get to bed. I help them take out the mattress. I get to my room after making sure they’re asleep. Somewhere along the way, I was taught to believe making a lot of money did not go hand in hand with making a difference and positively impacting people’s lives. Life is hard when growing up with a parent who doesn’t care about you. As am sleeping I hear my mother stumbling into the house, drunk as always.

Thanks for the lovely articles that are there to remind us. I left the kitchen after dinner last week and went upstairs with my three daughters and played with them. They danced for me and we laughed and mucked around. It was lovely. I had lots to do after they were all in bed and I couldn’t do it every day but I did think I should do that more often than I do do.
