My mother was a beautiful letter writer as well and loved to send cards just because. She passed away 11 years ago, but I still have her handwritten letters and they take me back. This is awesome. I confess I am not as great at leaving these lifelines as I should be. Angie inspired me to scour a local magazine for a fun Saturday family outing. Should we go to a blueberry patch? Swim in a lake? Take a hike? My older daughter never commented on them until the day I forgot to put one in.
