This is my Hallmark Christmas movie Happy New Year shirt, sweater

Last year, when my daughter was in kindergarten, they had parents volunteer for lunch duty in the cafeteria. One of the moms was a sham and able to volunteer very frequently. I could only volunteer once or twice a month. Oh…you are the lunchbox note, mom! I think that is awesome! I started doing it with my daughter too and I wanted to thank you for your fun idea. It made me laugh. Not a bad way to be known I guess!

Now don’t get me wrong – there was sorry there was stress there were tears there was angst. There were no words at times, just muffled sobs. Yes, there were hard, hard moments. Thanks for the lovely articles that are there to remind us. I left the kitchen after dinner last week and went upstairs with my three daughters and played with them. They danced for me and we laughed and mucked around. It was lovely. I had lots to do after they were all in bed and I couldn’t do it every day but I did think I should do that more often than I do do.
