I needed this today – to keep at bay the angry voice I want to raise at my children, the annoyance at my husband and the complete loss of patience I have for my elderly dog with dementia who has constant messes around the house and that I am constantly having to pick off the floor because she cannot walk well anymore. This reminded me that it’s okay to be overwhelmed but it’s not okay to treat those around me with anything less than love and kindness. This today, my first week with my children at school in a country I’m not familiar with. Need to give me time.
